Ingredients
- 1 cup dried black lentils
 - 1 sweet potato
 - 1/3 cup oats
 - 50ml vegetable oil
 - 2 tbs chopped parsley
 - 1 tbs soy sauce
 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
 - 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
 - 1/4 tsp chilli
 - 1/4 tsp ground coriander
 - salt and pepper
 
Method
- Heat the oven to 220 degrees C
 - Clean and pat dry the sweet potato, bake it in the oven for 45 minutes or until very soft
 - Lower the oven temperature to 200 degrees C
 - In the meantime, boil the lentils for 45 minutes
 - When the potato is ready, cool it down and take the skin off
 - Drain the lentils and put into a large bowl
 - Add all the other ingredients (including the potato) and combine using a hand blender into a smooth paste
 - Coat a loaf tin with vegetable oil and oats (small amounts not included above) and transfer the mixture into it
 - Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until brown, then cool down before eating
