Ingredients: (For 6 people)
-6 apples
-150g golden caster sugar
-150g organic spelt flour
-125g butter (leave for 30min to soften)
-Cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
-1 lemon (for zest and juice)
Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 200°C
-Peel and remove the core of the apples
-Chop the apples into little chunks
-Place in a oven dish, sprinkle with cinnamon and lightly drizzle with lemon juice
-Lightly add lemon zest to taste
-In a large bowl, mix flour and golden caster sugar
-Add the butter in small cubes and use your hands to mix everything together until the texture is similar to breadcrumbs
-Top the apples with the crumble mix and place in oven for 40min
leave it to cool down.
